An annual event that takes place Starting at Bellos Sports Pub in Sayreville New Jersey the second Saturday in April Bikers come from all over the state as well as P.A. New York and Connecticut for this event that is for a great cause all the proceeds go to the Sayreville association for Brain Injured Children This year we have added Camp Robin as another beneficiary of the events proceeds
Six years ago Inspired by the Miracle Run held every year by the New Jersey Elks Ray Fornicola aka Ray Cola A person who grew up in the city and overcame adversity Now lives in the suburbs Blessed with a wonderful wife and two amazing children He wanted to give something back to his community so he decided to start a motorcycle run to raise money and awareness for the Sayreville D.A.R.E. program but as it turns out the D.A.R.E. program could not accept the donation because the run was starting at a bar [a conflict of interest] the D.A.R.E. program told Ray to go see Maryanne Gorden of Sayreville ‘A Saint’ that works with Brain Injured Children [Sayreville Association For Brain Injured Children]“they can really use the help’
Starting out with only 17 riders Ray Cola’s Bikers Rally for Brain Injured Children has grown with the help of the New Jersey Elks and many others. Thousands of people have participated in the event over the past 5 years.
